An inside look at how our agency works…Spoiler alert: We’re pretty badass

I’m about to give you another inside scoop as to what we do here at MBS, but this time, instead of looking at what working with me looks like 1:1, I’m going to share the agency side of MBS.

Our agency is made up of some amazing people who are all specialists in what they do and I couldn’t be happier with the team I have around me. 

But what does it mean to work with our agency?

It’s time for another case study to explain…

Today’s case study is about Client Y who owns a very successful PR agency.

The overview

Client Y came to us when she was in the scaling phase of her business. 

By this I mean she had gone through a period of rapid growth and has cultivated a team, a very established business set to turn over more than half a million in revenue, and has a president working with her already. 

So she wanted to work with us to support her with her business operations. 

However, she has had some very bad past experiences with DOOs before. In fact, when we had our sales call she was very hesitant to sign on. She knew she needed help but had been badly burnt before so was naturally, and understandably, very cautious.

But, when Client Y and her president joined the call, they said they felt really seen and were blown away by how I carried myself and what I contributed on the call so they sign on for an audit. Which was amazing. 

What we aimed to do with this audit was identify any gaps in their systems and processes and ensure that the business foundation was as solid as possible and set up to support new clients and team members. 

After we had completed the very in-depth audit, they reviewed it and instead of hiring an operations team member to implement everything we recommended, she chose to lean on our agency for implementation and will be doing an operations project with her company each quarter. 

We’ll be filling in the gaps in their tech stack, processes, and operations and generally making the day-to-day easier for them. 

We have just finished working on building out all of the tech for some big launches they had coming up and for the next quarter, we’ll be focusing on tackling their internal systems and getting everything up to scratch.
